Ms. Berry is an associate with the law firm of Zampi, Determan and Erickson LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 2010. Upon graduating from law school, she earned her Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2011. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Kansas in 2002.
Prior to law school, Ms. Berry pursued a public interest career, working for five years in the Kansas Capitol. During that time, she served in positions in both the Office of the Governor and in the Kansas House of Representatives.
While in law school, she interned at Legal Services for Students and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Additionally, she successfully coordinated KU Law’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, preparing hundreds of tax returns for low income members of the community. Ms. Berry participated in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition and received an award for best brief in the preliminary competition. At commencement, Ms. Berry was the honored recipient of the Janean Meigs Memorial Award for demonstrating a caring spirit in service to the students of the University of Kansas and the community at large.
Ms. Berry is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association.
